Posted February 7, 2022. There is only one pump that does both front and rear screens. When you operate the front screen wash the pump rotates in one direction (lets say clockwise) and when you operate the rear screen wash it rotates in the opposite direction. Pump is located and attached to the side of the screen wash bottle.

Answered by Honest John. This is usually caused by sludge in the washer reservoir blocking the mesh filter for the pump. A quick fix is to get a hosepipe, shove it right into the bottom of the washer reservoir, hold it there, then get someone else to turn on the tap. That blasts all the crud out of the reservoir.

Remove the washer reservoir. Disconnect the electrical connectors. Pull off the hoses. Remove the windshield washer pump with rubber gasket. Disconnect the electrical connector. Disconnect the hoses. Lift out the pump. Vehicles with headlamp washer system. Remove the headlamp washer pump and rubber seal.
To get at the windscreen washer bottle I had to remove the windscreen wipers, the plastic windscreen trim, the bulk head trim and finally the windscreen wiper assembly mechanism.
