USA. TDI. 1.9 ALH. Mar 2, 2021. #1. Hey guys, I’m looking for some guidance on my alh swap I’ll be putting in my 81 pickup. I’m not in any rush to get it built as I have a running 1.6 in it now. It’s has no turbo so I’ll need to do that among other things. I figured since I have to buy/replace so much I might as well build it.

Years later, the RPM's randomly rise to 1050 and fans run even before the engine is up to normal temps and with little to no electrical load.
