Posted December 14, 2013. I see where the problem occurred, the part number 15520 refers to all reverse light switches throughout the whole MK1 C-Max/MK2 Focus range. The correct part for your gearbox is Finis number 1383960 and is as far as I can extrapolate the switch you indeed identified in your photo.-. Hi all, My father in law's DV6 MK2.5 is already causing problems and he's not had it 2 months yet! Generally speaking the car drives nicely (idles smoothly and pulls well etc) but often after a good hour plus on the motorway, the EML will illuminate but the car will continue to drive normally.

Posted December 23, 2010. Hi, just got a Focus and need to fix a few things the Rear window washer is not working, no water coming out.I can hear the pump working, front washer OK. I've seen that this is a common problem and can be caused by pipe coming off rear window spray jet assembly. I undid the 2 screws on the rear window brake

UK/Ireland Location: Fife. Posted August 12, 2013. rotten core plugs are usually caused by leaky washer jets letting the water in in the first place otherwise the core plugs shouldnt need touched might be worth checking after the rain just to be sure. Quote.

Also put an cleaner in the fuel thats called lucos which was recommended by my dad. It was £8 but heard some really good things from it. I still have starting problems with some days it starts 1st time. I do not have problem cranking it, it fires then the revs drop straight away andn conks out. Thanks for your comments guys.
\n\n ford focus mk2 1.8 petrol problems
Ford Focus 1.8 petrol erratic idle - Snakey. My 1.8 Focus had an erratic idle and it was simply one of the HT leads wasnt firmly seated. I've noticed these HT leads seem to gradually work their way loose after a while despite being firmly seated originally. It cured the problem of the occasional stall as well. Ford Focus - Ford Focus Mk2 - 1.6tdci or 1.6 petrol - bazza : Yes, go for a petrol Focus 1.6 or 1.8. Go for a reasonable trim level too, the basic Focus's are fairly well-basic, and road noise was a problem in our LX. I've read that there's more sound-proofing in the higher speccd models. 7Zsu.
