I just ran across some Monster CX-2 bi-wire cable that I had packed away about 10 yrs ago. At this moment in time not having to buy high dollar speaker would be of help to the budget. This cable is made up of a small cable of 3 solid wires in a jacket, and a larger ( about 14 ga ), of probably 30 to forty small stands in a jacket.
I was looking at monsters websight and they have the new game cables for the ps3.The hdmi is$99.99 and the fiber optic is $29.99 thats like $130 for cables.Are they worth it?Is there cables that are cheaper that are as good? As a matter of fact, the store didn't even carry monster cable speaker wire which now that I think about it seems odd because they are a reputable small chain here in Oregon, California and Washington State. Not only that but they sell Monster interconnects? For what it's worth, can tell a damn bit of difference between the monster and these. I have a question on cables. I need a pair of 23' biwire cables to connect my Aerial LR5's to a Theta Dreadnaught amp. I have the opportunity to purchase a set of Monster Cables 2.4s biwire cable for about 60% off list, for a total of around $550. The Bettercables in a similar length is around 1/2 this cost. Is the Monster 2.4s a much better cable? Monster cables are not worth their price. I've experimented with a few different brands of cables and i've heard quite a difference. Most of my cables are DH Labs, which is a respected budget higher-end cable. AR makes some very good budget cables and they're not anywhere near as expensive as Monster.

I want to get component cables for my PS2 and DVD player and I saw these but wasnt sure if they would be worth the $40 just to be hooked up to a "27 WEGA

I finally bought a Neo Geo system (thanks Jeff!)and Jeff included some thick cables with it but I see that a lot of fellow neo gamers are using monster jTv6n.
