No matter the cylinder capacity chose the EXC-R proves able to deal with anything that I have purchased a 2011 KTM 450 EXC. This is the first bike of any kind I have ever owned. I am confused as to how often to perform critical maintenance. The dealer has told me I must change the oil, oil filter, and clean/change the air filter every 3-5 hours of use. The KTM 450 XCF-W features a robust 6-speed transmission made by PANKL Racing Systems. The gears are made of a strong, forged raw material, ensuring the highest durability and reliability level. All four-stroke engines are fitted with a gear sensor, giving the option of different engine characteristics for each gear. Great bike still mostly stock. Still getting deceleration popping after I installed a JD jetting kit, just need to weld the exhaust to the connector adapter.
